Unquestionably two of H.I’s best kept secrets are 1. The intimate little restaurant overlooking the Harbour at the CYC where this week we were delighted with a fabulous ‘Chicken Cacciatore a la Borg’
prepared by one of our members who fills in his days as a chef at Qualia.
Adrian, thank you for a brilliant meal,it was very well received by all the members and their guests who turned up for the feast.
2. That ‘The Hustler’ is leading the winter series by a country mile with, I believe, 8 first places. This is such a secret that nobody else knew there even was a winter series for 40ft yachts with crews with a passion for red wine. I believe there is now a search on for a kit to extend the Status 19′s to meet the stringent 40ft rule….
Please keep Wednesday 9th July at 6.00pm free for the CYC AGM, remember if you bring your cheque book with you and pay your membership fee on the night then the BBQ is ‘on the house’.
