Good morning sailors,
Race 1 of the Cruise Indigo series was heralded with a steady 8-10kt
nor’easter that shed a different light on the course particularly with the
incoming tide. Some close racing ensued as we beat our way down to Pelican
Rock then eased sheets and set kites on the run home with the wind and tide
behind us.
It was a rare race this season to not have Run A Muk first across the line,
as this week Adrenalin managed to haul her in and beat her across the line
by a mere 6 seconds.
December being a 5 Wednesday month will have 4 races in the Cruise Indigo
Series and the fifth Wednesday will be a non point score and lady skipper
race.
