Good morning sailors,
Race 2 of the Cruise Indigo series and race 13 of the Fantasea Cruises Club
Championship was sailed in a steady 14 knot easterly making for an easy
reach to Henning and for most a single leg work to the finish. The lee of
Henning island as always caused a few problems including the very rare sight
of Darren falling off his windsurfer, certainly something I’ve never seen
before.
The CYC is having a Christmas function at the new Yacht Club on Monday 21st
December from 6-8pm. The cost is $20 for members and $40 for guests, this is
a very heavily subsidised price for food and we thank HIE and the Yacht Club
for their support. We are restricted to 100 and ask that members only bring
one guest each, tickets can be purchased from Georgina and the close off for
tickets is Friday 18th. Your ticket will also enter you into the raffle for
some wonderful prizes. Dress is smart casual.
